WHO IS THE BOOKFEST

The BookFest is a virtual literary festival that brings readers, authors, and publishing professionals together for live talks, panels, and workshops. It celebrates storytelling and builds community around books, ideas, and creativity.

MY ROLE

I supported content and community tasks with the Black Château team.

I contributed alongside a wonderful team, supporting campaigns with authors like James Dashner, Deborah M. Pratt, and Josh Malerman, as well as many new and emerging voices.

WHAT I DID

• Wrote simple posts and visuals for Meta platforms
• Gathered ideas from interviews and news to keep content relevant
• Helped highlight authors and their releases in friendly, accessible ways

A SMALL PROUD MOMENT

The BookFest was also featured on the Nasdaq board in New York City. It was meaningful to see the work of so many authors, partners, and teammates shown in such a visible place. It felt like a quiet reminder of what collaboration can do.
